The other thing that one should do to increase speed for the computer is by adding more RAM. This would happen incase users have installed programs that require additional resources for execution than other programs that are contained in ones computer. Therefore, if programs are taking long to execute, then adding more RAM will come in handy.

In addition, there are some computers that slow down if they happen to overheat when executing processes. This shows that there is certain hardware in the system that is malfunctioning. The fan should be fixed as soon as possible to avoid more damage in the computer and to increase its speed. Finally, there are some unnecessary programs in the computer that start executing automatically occasionally all through the day. For this to seize, user should start the programs then visit their control panel and ensure only vital programs execute at a time to avoid system slowdowns and improve system performance.
